Components

Components are different parts of the same project. For example, if you are making amigurumi, you can have a component for the head, one for the body, one for the arms that can repeat x times, etc. Each component has its own counter and can have its own pattern.

When creating a new project, a main component is created automatically. You can add more components by clicking on the "+" button on the components section in project details screen.

Patterns

There are multiple sources you can choose:

  • PDF format: You can import PDF files. When using from web option app will turn web page to PDF and add it as PDF.
  • Row instructions: Row instructions are a way to see the pattern in nicer way and it focuses on important part of the pattern.
  • Filet: Create custom filet grid from scratch.

Row instructions are the instructions for the row you are working on. You need to paste the instructions separated by new line. Don't include the row number in the instructions. For example:

  • MR
  • (SC) x6
  • (INC, SC)x6
  • (INC, SC, SC)x6

From example above when counter is at "2" then "(INC, SC)x6" will be shown when you open the row instruction file.

Filet is a grid chart where you can set different colors for each grid cell. You can use it to better visualize and track your filet projects.

Counters

Yes, you can set the default starting value of the counter to 1 from options. Or you can change the counter start value in counter settings.

Alarms are notifications that you can set to remind you to do something. You can set alarms for counters based on their value. Alarms can be repeatable with some specified interval. Silent alarms don't show any notification, they just show alert message in counter widget.

Linked counters are just like name suggests, linked. When you link a counter to another counter, the counter will update the value of the linked counter. This will work for increments and decrements as well. Reseting the counter will not reset the linked counter.

This link is one way. If you update the linked counter, the counter that linked to it will not update. You can also unlink the counters if you want to.

Stitch Glossary

Stitch glossary is a list of stitches that you can use in your patterns. You can add, edit and delete stitches from stitch glossary. You can also choose to add stitch only to some projects.
